Audience comments are always welcome as agenda items are discussed. In addition, the School Committee has set aside fifteen minutes on this Agenda to enable members of the audience to raise questions and make comments on any other matter of general concern. To facilitate this process, interested speakers are asked to provide the Superintendent with the nature of the question/comment, in writing, prior to the start of the meeting.
6. New Business.
6.1 To hear a report from the Mathematics Department.
6.2 To hear a report from the Health Education Department on Secondary Asset Inventory.
6.3 To act on the application of the Town of Marshfield to be admitted as a member of the South Shore Educational Collaborative (SSEC), as recommended by the SSEC Board of Directors.
6.4 To direct the Superintendent to form an ad hoc committee to develop proposed plans for the redistricting that will be necessary for the opening of the new school.
6.5 To receive notification of the general leave of absence for Leda Eizenberg, an English teacher at Hingham High School, for the 2008-2009 school year.
6.6 To receive notification of the appointment of Jacquelyn Crombie as a paraprofessional at South School, effective March 24, 2008.
6.7 To receive information regarding an overnight field trip of the French 8 class to Quebec City May 2-4, 2008.
